Oblivion Lycanthropy Mod

My 'The Ender Scroll IV: Oblivion,' game; using Skycaptain's Deadly Reflex mod with Cid88's Werewolves: The Curse of Hircine as well as a bunch others. Such as Robert's Body Replaces, Beautiful. To turn debug on you have to disable the mod, then find the file called 'CurseOfHircine.ini' it should be in the core folder. Then change the zero on this line 'set cidwwsettings.enabledebug to 0' to a 1.

Being a werewolf in Skyrim can be extremely cool. But at the same time, it sometimes feels like it could be better.

There are just some things that feel a bit off when it comes to the perks and skill tree itself, and even the werewolf form feels like it could use a couple of improvements here and there.

As such I’ve made the decision to compile a big list of werewolf mods that will truly make you feel like a servant of the full moon.

Most of these mods are compatible with one another, but I would advise you to not try two overhauls at the same time, as those could bug out from time to time.

Tales of Lycanthropy is a great mod, but if you’re looking for the best overhaul out there stick to Moonlight Tales. You’ll see what I’m talking about once you finish reading this list.

10. Bloodmoon Rising – Moonlight Tales

This is a standalone mod, but it does work much better if you have Moonlight Tales installed.

This mod is mainly made to offer players who enjoy a challenge (read: those who play in Master difficulty or higher) an even bigger challenge than the base game can offer them.

However it also improves survivability in higher difficulties, making the game feel better and not as frustrating.

The mod works with any other mod that doesn’t mess with the skill tree and does a fantastic job complementing the Moonlight Tales mod.

9. Be Both Vampire and Werewolf

Alright, hear me out on this: how cool would it be if we could be a true servant of the night by becoming both a vampire and a werewolf at the same time?

I know that the name of the mod already spoiled the surprise, but that’s exactly what you can do with this bad boy.

This mod allows you to be both vampire and werewolf. But you can’t turn at the same time.

There was another mod that allowed you to be a weird hybrid creature that mixed the features of werewolves and vampires in one single entity, but it just looked too weird for my taste.

8. Underworld Dawnguard – Vampire and Werewolf Eyes

Is it just me, or do the eyes of characters in Underworld look extremely cool? It2180 boot key.

Well it clearly isn’t just me because someone had the idea of creating a mod that changed the way eyes look to make them exactly like those in the movies.

Needless to say, they look absolutely cool. If you’re looking to change the way your werewolf looks, then take quick glance at this freebie.

7. Tales of Lycanthropy

Tales of Lycanthropy is the first overhaul mod on my list.

It brings back the werewolf disease from Morrowind and makes the addition of new transformations, as well as customization settings that are easy to tweak even for the least tech-savvy of players.

A great mod that enhances your werewolf experience by providing you with plenty more choices than the vanilla game!

6. Werewolf Revert Form

The main issue with being a werewolf is that you’re never in true control of your actions.

Turning back into a human would be a gamechanger, and it would make you feel like a much more powerful being of the night.

This mod allows just that and it requires no other additions to the game to work properly.

5. Werewolf Perks Expanded

Alright, this one fixes one of my main gripes with werewolves in Skyrim. So it’s getting a good spot on my list!

Werewolves seem to have little to no useful perks in the game and this mod reworks the skill tree to fix this issue.

It makes werewolf perks super useful! It also adds one of my favorite perks as well – ignore armor!

Hacking and slashing has never been as fun (and useful) as it is with this mod installed.

4. Werewolf Mastery

This mod allows you to tweak how powerful werewolves are in the game.

If you’ve been playing for a while and your character is already leveled up to anything over level 50, you’re going to struggle to find use in becoming a werewolf.

Well this mod allows you to make your night-dweller abilities much better and enhance the overall feel of being a werewolf in the game.

3. Predator Vision

This fantastic and immersive mod allows you to see exactly like a werewolf should.

Track your enemies regardless of the level of lighting and track prey however you want.

Mod

The Predator Vision mod allows you to feel like a true hunter or, should I rather say manhunter, in Skyrim.

You will not only see the silhouettes of your enemies. But you’ll also be able to see clearly in the night.

2. Heart of the Beast

If you’re getting this mod, you don’t really need the Underworld eye changer.

This one’s going to do the whole rework job for you. Heart of the Beast makes werewolves sound like truly frightening creatures and changes the textures of the fur as well as all relevant parts of the skin, making werewolves feel much more “realistic”.

This might not change anything related to gameplay, but if you’re looking for immersion then good luck finding anything better than Heart of the Beast.

1. Moonlight Tales

An overhaul mod that adds a full list of new features to the game, including the ability to become a werebear and even have werewolf companions.

A must-have mod for every werewolf fan out there.

The skin of each werewolf will feel more unique and better-lookin. Aand you’ll even have new options if you wish to seek a cure (why would you? Traitor).
In any case, Moonlight Tales is by far the best werewolf mod in Skyrim in my opinion.

Immersion is guaranteed thanks in part to the uniqueness that it adds to the game.

Werewolf Clans of Vvardenfell

I consider this mod a permanent beta due to the strange behavoir of WW NPCs in morrowind. There are some known issues with it but they are not overly detrimental to gameplay.

To become a member of a certain clan you need to be infected by a werewolf that is a member of that clan. There are NO quests associated with this mod but each clan has a lair in their home region with services that are only for clan members. You can also talk to the werewolves about their own clan and other clans at high disposition. If you become a known werewolf you can visit your clan's base to have your known werewolf status removed (it will be removed on entry you don't need to talk to anyone).

Tales Of Lycanthropy Mod

The new werewolves spawn in their own particular locations in Vvardenfell and solstheim. You’ll find individual werewolves that are normal NPCs during the day and attack you while in werewolf form (these do not respawn). Most of the werewolves in clan bases transform only at the full moon. There are also respawning werewolves that only appear at night. These respawning werewolves were added by leveled lists and then individually placed in the landscape.

Werewolves of your own clan do not attack you even if you are in werewolf form - assuming you do not have any GMST problems.
YOU CAN become a werewolf and vampire at the same time with this mod with NO messed up head (You'll have to either use the console or use a weakness to common disease spell (since vampires are immune to common diseases) and you must be infected by one of the clans and you must be a vampire first)-however use caution as combining other werewolf and vampire mods may have strange effects-this aspect has not been fully tested. . .

The Clans:

The Red Mountain Clan:

ScreenshotVery vicious red werewolves found only in the red mountain region. They receive a bonus in strength and blunt weapon skills and have the strongest claws of any werewolf. In werewolf form they are immune to fire but weak to frost. Their desire to kill spills over even into their human form so watch out for them. Their lair can be found somewhere in the red mountain region. I wouldn't suggest going in there (Especially on a full moon) unless you are really tough!

(actually, entering ANY of the lairs on a full moon is a bad idea . . .)

Lycanthropy In The Bible

The Shadow Clan:

ScreenshotProbably the most common of the werewolf clans they are based around stealth. They are black in color. They receive a bonus to sneak skills and have a sanctuary ability in both human and werewolf form. In werewolf formthey are excellent leapers but are weak to magical attacks. The wolves of the shadow clan spawn in the Ashlands and Molag amur region. Their lair is located in the Ashlands.

The Golden Clan:

ScreenshotThe rarest of the 4 clans they appear ONLY during full moons. They are the closest to benevolent werewolves and are somewhat magical in nature they get bonuses to intelligence and willpower in human form and a reflect ability while in werewolf form but a weakness to normal weapons. Their domain is the Azura’s Coast region. Their lair is located in a dwemer ruin but the door to the lair appears only during full moons. The golden clan werewolves are a tawny gold color. If you visit this base you can get an amulet that will teleport you back.

The Arctic Clan:

ScreenshotFound only on Solstheim the arctic clan is all about the cold north lands. They are unusually lucky and resist frost and shock they are weak to fire however. Their lair is found in the coldest reaches of Solstheim. These werewolves are white.

All of the new werewolf textures were made by me except for the white ones which were done by Emberwolf.

This mod is compatible with my other werewolf mods. The regular bloodmoon werewolves are still around on solstheimbut they have no clan affiliations or bonuses. If you are infected through the bloodmoon main quest you will become one of these. You can use console commands to change your clan affinities around - these are included in the Read-me of the mod.

You CAN do the bm main quest as one of the clan type werewolves but you can only do the werewolf quests as one if you use one of mywerewolf gameplay mods-werewolf realism or were-better. These will affect clan werewolves in the same way as normal werewolves.

Skyrim Lycanthropy Mod

Known Issues

1. Because of the modification to the werewolf fight mod GMST some NPCs will not react properly to you in werewolf form.A few may treat you as if you were in human form and not attack or flee from you. They may even give you audible greetings telling you you are naked-some clanmembers may do this as well.

2. If you choose to be a vampire-werewolf and if you rest before transforming into your werewolf form, your health will be stuck at whatever it was in human formbefore you rested- this is due to the vampire dream script that keeps you from regaining health by resting. You can regain it by killing an NPC.

3. If you use the GMST fix with this mod your clan members will attack you if you see them in the wilderness or you enter the base while in werewolf form. I have includeda modified version of the GMST fix mod that will avoid this. You do NOT need to use the GMST fix mod if your other mods are clean.

4. This mod is *mostly* compatible with my werewolf realism and other gameplay mods. There are some scripts that will need to be started via console.

5. One some occasions NPC-werewolves may turn up as 'silent hill' people. So far as I know this is an inherent bug in the Bloodmoon werewolf system so there's nothingI can do about it. If you don't like it. Don't use the mod.

6. Sometimes once set to fight your clan members may not want to stop fighting with you. If you rest 3 days somewhere else their fight settings *may* revert to normal. But to be the safest, I would suggest getting infected by werewolves OUTSIDE of the bases.

7. I Do NOT plant to make any quests based on this mod. I simply do not have the time and it's just too annoying to work with Bloodmoon type werewolves anyway. If anyone wants to make quests based on this mod they may do so, but it would be nice if they let me know about it.
